Payment
We utilize a cash pay model for our business. This means you get custom care at an affordable rate without having to deal with the overhead and wait times that comes with insurance.
Depending on what we are helping you with, you may still be able to use your insurance for labs or medications. We will also provide you with a super bill after your visit, which you may submit to your insurance. We do accept HSA/HRA cards! However, please note that in keeping with our model of not accepting insurance and keeping costs low for all – we do not do prior authorizations or adjustments for insurance purposes.
Realizing that medicine is an art that is unique to each individual and practitioner; and not an algorithm or protocol - our model allows us to eliminate insurance company and large corporation limitations and interference in your health care.
Example Payment
Strep Throat Visit
Large insurance accepting practice: $500 visit plus $200 for the strep test. On the day of the visit, you will owe nothing or a small copay. They will bill your insurance. Most American’s have high deductible plans and if you have not met it, you will receive a bill in the mail for $700.
Private, cash practice: $100 cash/credit/HSA/HRA at the time of the service. You do have the option of submitting the receipt to insurance to be reimbursed. If you have not met your deductible, you will not see any money back, but it will count towards your deductible for the year. Surprise bills in a month = NONE!
